CHAIRMAN and PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dr. Oscar M. Lopez, Chairman of Lopez Group Foundation, Inc., the team of Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc., representatives from Rex Book Store Inc. and all who are present here today, who believe in the power of education and in building a better future, a pleasant morning to all.
We are in an era of technology where even children at a very young age are exposed to all types of technology – LED televisions, wireless gaming consoles, handheld gaming devices, smart phones, laptops, computers, tablets and many more. A greater percentage of digital natives is coming from the younger generation and it is a fact that we cannot deny. Thus, it is critical, more than ever, to reach this young generation in the environment they are adapted and also for the teachers who are with them most of the time during the entire school year.
Rex Book Store Inc. in partnership with Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. made this endeavour possible of having more sources for teachers and students to learn from, by providing links of available Knowledge Channel Videos in the known titles of Rex Book Store such as: Kayamanan for Grade School and High School Social Studies, Math for Life for Grade School Mathematics, E-Math for High School Mathematics, The New Science Links and Science Links for Grade School and High School Science and Proficiency in English for High School English.
With this same endeavor, we are also able to help fund and fuel the mission of Knowledge Channel Foundation in reaching as many poor children, by arming them with skills and knowledge that will help them live their live better. We at Rex, are proud to share in the same advocacy.
This simple ceremony is a manifestation of the fruits of that partnership and we hope that this contribution goes a long way.
It is our dream to have the best education in the Philippines and together with Knowledge Channel Foundation, this dream will be realized.
