As a new member of your Board of Trustees, I feel so honored and privileged being tasked to be welcoming all of you here tonight on the occasion of PPTF’s 42nd anniversary and induction of its new set of Board of Trustees.
I learned that when PPTF was just starting, it only had a handful of founders. But look how this organization has been growing. We now boast of four hundred (400) active printing companies and suppliers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and continuously expanding.
All these were made possible through the efforts not only of the past leaderships but with the indispensable cooperation of the entire membership. Congratulations to each and everyone!
It is hoped that the Foundation could live up to its mission of helping upgrade the technical skills of member-companies from the small family printshop to the large high-output printing companies – to enable them to continuously improve the quality of printing products and be able to compete with the best in the regional and world markets.
Let us hope that this occasion would serve as another avenue for all the members to renew the camaraderie among each other towards the achievement of a more progressive printing technology.
The present Board of Trustees who would be inducted in a few minutes, is hereby once again expecting full cooperation from the entire membership in our future endeavors as we all aspire for PPTF to achieve greater heights.
The night is just beginning. I now formally welcome you all to a hopefully fruitful and memorable 42nd Anniversary celebration.
